Peckers

We came up with this design approximately 3 years ago, again when we were “The Pigeon Magnet”. The idea behind the peckers is that they provide extra movement to a static decoy pattern. They are particularly useful on freshly sown fields where the soil is flat and bare or on stubbles after harvest. The idea is quite simple…it simulates a feeding pigeon and increases the willingness of pigeons to approach your decoy pattern by a) providing realistic movement b) making it look as if there’s some serious feeding going on!

We have even used our peckers on lofting poles when pigeons are feeding on ash and ivy berries and managed to get our clients shooting when others have failed! One small 1.2amp hour battery will run 3 peckers up to 8 hours continual use. Peckers come with ‘saddleback connectors’ to allow multiple connections onto one battery. The peckers also work great using our intermittent timer control too. The decoys are flock coated which eliminates any shine in rain, strong sunlight or frost and are fully detailed with real eyes, and all the white and black markings.
